Draft. Written from the Hangar 741 code as of Session 79. Not legal advice. We do not store a written DPA or subprocessor list in the product repo. Company numbers and ICO registration are not in that repo and are not invented here.
Who this is for
Hangar 741 is an app for aircraft maintenance engineers. It stores the logbook you write (or import), drafts Task Detail prose when you ask, and exports a CAP 741 PDF.
What we store
Your account email and password live with the auth provider. Your logbook rows (entries, engineers, aircraft, import batches, print pages, profile, usage counters, purchase events) live in the Hangar 741 database, schema logbook, private to your user id.
Worksheet photos used for everyday capture are read on the device. Only extracted text leaves the phone. Logbook scans stay on the device unless you consent to cloud reading for that book.
Everyday capture (on-device)
Camera and library sheets are read on the device with @capacitor-community/image-to-text. The photo is not uploaded to Hangar 741 storage for that path.
Cloud transcribe (only if you consent)
The import function logbook-transcribe-page accepts a JPEG as image_jpeg_base64. It sends that image to the model as an in-memory data:image/jpeg;base64,… URL. It writes quota and ai_usage only. It does not upload the image to Storage.

Delete
Settings → Delete account calls delete_account_data, which removes your rows from print_page_entries, print_pages, print_batches, entry_corrections, task_refs, chapter_applicability, import_pages, import_batches, entries, engineers, aircraft, ai_usage, revenuecat_events, and profiles, then deletes the auth user. Signed paper pages in your binder stay yours.
That function does not call RevenueCat or Apple to cancel a subscription. Cancel in your Apple account.
